Orange Hotel -Hanzhong, Taipei

Very clean and convenient location

It is very close to ximending. So it’s only a 5 min walk to get to the Rainbow Six. I also like that there was a BIDET. They give free snacks but really it’s just a nice gesture, they aren’t that great.

The room is quite small. I didn’t like breakfast. They are vouchers and it’s for either Louisa Coffee or Mos Burger. You have to walk to the location so it’s a bit inconvenient even though it’s free. I did not use any of them so if that is your reason to stay here because of the “free breakfast”. Don’t.

The street was quiet and close to Ximending and MRT stations. The property is also maintained well. Free snacks and drinks were a plus?. Restaurants and convenience store are also steps away.

The location is very close to the subway, 5 min walk only.A lot of local food around the hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly

Excellent location! It's just a few steps away from exits 1 and 6 of Ximen Station. The area is perfect if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Ximending (it's a pretty quiet area) but still want to be near for shopping and food tripping. The staff were so wonderful and helpful, too. We got to leave our luggage before our flight back home while we explored the rest of Taipei. Housekeeping was everyday so we got fresh towels everyday!

There was a slightly funky smell in the bathroom when we arrived. We weren't sure if it was the bowl or the adjacent unit (since we could hear their toilet from ours). Nonetheless, it was gone a day after we checked in.

Small room

It’s super close to Ximending that we went back multiple times just to drop off items that we bought. Air conditioning is adequate and there’s free ice-cream bars and other snacks, which are very welcome due to the hot weather. Laundry is free, although detergent costs money.

We had a two-bed room and they were twin-size. I was falling off left and right throughout the night. I don’t think having a one large bed room would solve the problem, as we could easily be kicking each other off while asleep. There was also no space to open our luggage flat on the floor. The top side had to stand up next to the wall. But this is to be expected due to the central location.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! This is the best part. I also like the location of this hotel, which is just 5 minutes from the MRT station.

There is no public area where I can work or enjoy my food. Also, I could hear my neighbors taking showers at night.

I love the free snacks in the lobby, the facilities are extremely clean, the staff were extremely helpful with my suitcases, and I love the pink light in the room for sleep.

The AC in the hallway is WAY too cold. The room was set to 20C when I arrived, which is too low. I stayed at another hotel that said it set their AC to 26. Honestly, nothing should be less than 23. My hotel room didn't warm up because the hallway was so cold. The other thing is that breakfast coupons were far away. I did not realize that when I booked. You have to go to local chains far from the hotel. Do not get the breakfast included, there are closer and better places to go.

Quiet area at night . Perfect after long day of activities. They clean the rooms daily. Fresh towels everdyay.

The hotel is great, the room is clean! Beds are comfy. The location is superb! Very close to Ximending night market. There are also lots of restaurants around, and there's 7/11 in front of the hotel. The TV is smart TV so was able to watch in Youtube while having vacation. Will definitely consider booking this hotel again.

Excellent Location and convenience. 2 minute walk to subway and Ximen. A lot of local food and restaurants around and staff were incredibly helpful. Laundromat too!

The location was conveniently located in Ximen which is next to a lot of great restaurants and shopping. It was also extremely close to the subway line which was very helpful getting around Taipei. The room was a good size for 1 person and there were free snacks in the lobby which was helpful. This place also has free laundry which you never see in a hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The room didn't have a lot of floor space for my luggage but this is typical for hotels in the area.
